Fish: Electrofishing Captures at Upper Site 1986-1999 |
|
Caption: The chart above reflects the results of California Department of Fish and Game electrofishing of the same 30-meter long site in Caspar Creek. This "upper" of two sites is located above the sediment sampling weir and was typically sampled in September of August. Although it is impossible to accurately determine age classes by size alone at that time of year, age-classes were recorded. One coho yearling (COHO 1+) was recorded at the site in 1998, but it is not known whether an effort to distinguish this age class was made in earlier years. Size data from these surveys is available from Scott Harris of CDFG. This data set represents one of the few long-term data records from the region. Click on Info Links for more information.
