Fish: Doyle Creek Electrofishing Results |
|
Caption: The electrofishing catch above shows a community of which steelhead are the largest component but with coho salmon present. This reach is just above the confluence with Doyle Creek with the Pacific Ocean, which may partially explain high numbers of sculpin. Doyle enters the ocean within several hundred feet of the mouth of Caspar Creek. The culvert under Highway 1 about 750 feet upstream of the mouth is a barrier to adult silver salmon. See Info Links for more information on coastal tribs fish memos, including one on Doyle Creek.
