Caption: The chart above shows the existing miles of road by location and surface type in the Little North Fork Big River basin as of year 2000. The majority of roads are located mid-slope and most roads are of native surfaces. Matthews and Associates (2001) state: "Analysis indicates that sediment production from roads has increased significantly over the study period, tracking cumulative road construction."
