Temperature: Floating Weekly Average East Branch NF Big River |
|
Caption: Floating weekly average water temperature of the middle reach of the East Branch North Fork Big River (site 75-1) exceeded 16.8 degrees C in all years measured rendering it unsuitable for coho habitation. This reach is below mélange terrain and may be somewhat warm as a result of natural landscape influences. No data is available for lower reaches of this stream. The 16.8 degree C stress threshold for coho salmon was chosen based on Welsh et al. (2001). See Info Links for more information. Data provided by the Mendocino Redwood Company.
