Caption:  Charlotte Morrison collected fine sediment data at two sites in lower Inman Creek using wet-sieve McNeil sampling techniques in 1994. Results of fine sediment less than 4.0 mm are displayed here with a reference of 30% fine sediment less than 6.4 mm. The 4.0 mm sieve chosen by Morrison (1994) does not include particles between 4.0 and 6.4 mm, which are also in a size class known to infiltrate into redds. Despite this under-representation, fine sediment levels <4.0 mm at all lower Inman Creek sample sites exceeded the reference except at sites #1.2 and #2.3. See InfoLinks for more information.
