Caption:  Charlotte Morrison collected fine sediment data in Inman Creek using wet-sieve McNeil sampling techniques. Raw results of fine sediment less than 0.85 mm are displayed here for four points along a cross section at each location. The reference of 14% fine sediment less than 0.85 mm comes from the Garcia River TMDL (U.S. EPA, 1998) and applies to wet sieve samples. Fines in Inman Creek ranged from a low of 8.4% to a high of 21.9%. See InfoLinks for more information.
