Caption:  The chart above shows the results of an August 2002 Fleming Creek habitat typing survey as the type of canopy cover over the stream. Canopy is measured with a densiometer from the center of the stream. Data indicate 100% shade with a high component of conifers (66%). Data collected by Elizabeth Earthman and Jennifer Presnell of the Americorp Stewards program under the direction of the California Department of Fish and Game.
