| Caption: This chart shows the maximum daily water temperatures in 2002 in Knownothing Creek at two locations, as well as the air temperatures near the mouth. Notice that the water temperatures in Knownothing Creek at both sites remained below the level stressful to Salmonids during the entire season, other than one very brief period in July. Data were collected by automated temperature sensors called Hobotemps, which were anchored in flowing water in the shade. Hobotemps were monitored by community volunteers and paid staff of the Salmon River Restoration Council. | |
