| Caption: The California Department of Fish and Game counted spring Chinook salmon redds from 1991-1994 and similar data were acquired by private contractors in 1995. Reaches of the South Fork Trinity River were assigned letters starting in upstream areas and working downstream (A = above the East Fork, N = mouth at Salyer, X,Y,Z = Lower Hayfork).
