Topic	Fish: Outmigrant Salmonids by Date in Lower Mainstem, 1997

 

Caption:  Extremely low numbers of coho and yearling steelhead were trapped (see Chart Table for numbers) in the lower mainstem Mattole River in 1997. Young of the year steelhead exceeded the yearling steelhead by an order of magnitude or more. Numbers of fish trapped are not to be construed as a fish population estimate because of unknown trap efficiency and avoidance of the trap by fish at higher flows.
