Caption:  The Chart Table MSG_adults.dbf contains data regarding artificial propagation activities and adult salmon population estimates for the Mattole River from 1981 to 2000. Data was provided by the Mattole Salmon Group and is also presented in Table 1 of their 5-Year Management Plan. For each adult spawning run, the following data is listed: TRAP_DAYS = number of days the adult trapping weir operated, CK_CATCH = the number of Chinook captured, CK_SPAWN = the number of female Chinook spawned, CK_EGGS = the number of eggs taken, CK_RELEASED = the number of Chinook fingerlings released. The columns are repeated for coho salmon (CO_*). The last two columns contain population estimates based on trapping at adult weir, and index spawning surveys which may vary annually depending on staff availability and flow conditions.
