Fish: Snorkel Survey Flynn Creek 2000 Fall |
|
Caption: This chart displays snorkel data from all surveys in Flynn Creek in fall, 2000. Coho salmon remained fairly constant from spring to fall 2000 in Flynn Creek, but steelhead declined substantially between summer and fall. This suggests that conditions in Flynn Creek allow coho to compete favorably with steelhead. California roach began to be observed in the fall, whereas they were not present at higher flows when stream temperatures would have been cooler. The data were provided by University of California, Davis. Click on Info Links for more information. See below for a key to species names:
0+ Steelhead = young of the year steelhead
0++Steelhead = steelhead either large young of the year or small 1+ (only used in 2000 sampling)
1+ Steelhead = steelhead older than one year

Roach = California roach
Stickleback = threespine stickleback
All Sculpin = combined totals for coast range and prickly sculpin
