Caption: The chart above shows the total annual aggregate extraction in tons from Sonoma County in the years 1981-1990. The largest amount of gravel came from terraces in this period. The total aggregate production over this period was 51 million tons, annual average was 5.1 million tons, the lowest production occurred was 3.7 million tons in 1982, and the maximum production was 7.4 million tons in 1989. Data are from the 1994 Russian River Aggregate Resources Monitoring Plan. See InfoLinks for more information.
