Caption:  This Chart shows the floating weekly average water temperature at middle and upper Willow Creek (sites 98-1 and 98-3, respectively) for the year 2000. Maximum floating weekly average water temperatures (MWAT) did not exceed the coho reference values at either site. Welsh et al. (2001) found that coho are not likely to persist where MWAT exceeds 16.8°C. See InfoLinks for more information. Temperature data comes from automated water temperature data probes placed in Russian River tributaries by Mendocino Redwoods Company.
