WQ: 1973-2000 Total Phosphate at Laguna de Santa Rosa at Trenton Br. |
|
Caption: This chart shows minimum, median, and average total phosphate in the Laguna de Santa Rosa at Trenton Bridge for the period 1973-2000. Treated municipal wastewater from the city of Santa Rosa and surrounding areas is discharged in the Laguna. Total phosphate levels appear to have decreased substantially in recent years, but it is difficult to draw conclusions because of limited sampling effort. Total Phosphate was sampled 20-80 times per year in the mid-1970's, but only occasionally in the 1980's and 1990's. Data were provided by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (NCRWQCB). See InfoLinks for more information.
